Louis rubbed his eyes one last time before getting out of bed only wearing his pjs pants. Everybody was still sleeping, he had the habit of waking up earlier than most people, that way he could avoid all the noise the students made at breakfast. One would think being the Egocentric he was, the normal thing was for him to like crowded places where he could show all his greatness, indeed it was like that, but there was only one situation where that didn't happen, for him it was the "me time" the only couple of hours he would get away from everybody, drink his coffee and read a couple of chapters from a book, alone.
After the shower and being all dressed up, Louis gave a last look in the mirror and ran his fingers through his hair before leaving the Head's dorm behind. After drinking a large cup of coffee in the Great Hall, Louis made his way towards the black lake, it was always a good spot to read, quiet with a nice view. Spotting the same tree he sat every morning, he walked to it and opened his book about dark magic in the XV century, letting himself drown completely inside it.

Dressed in jeans and a blue sweater, Lily made her way from her dorm to the castle grounds. It was a calm morning, though that was largely due to the fact that the rest of the student population was still asleep in their beds. It was the kind of mornings that Lily liked best, when she could just walk around and enjoy the rare quiet that seemed to be everywhere. Unlike her dorm mates, Lily had always been a rather early riser. She was one of those people who liked to get up with the sun and believed that doing so gave her the whole day to enjoy.
Walking down the stone path, Lily began to softly hum to herself, making up a random tune as she went. She didn’t’ care if it made no sense musically, or if it was the most bizarre sounding song in the world. It reflected her happy mood, which was good enough for her. Getting closer to the lake, she noticed someone sitting under a tree and couldn’t resist getting closer to see who it was. It didn’t take her long to get to where she was finally able to see the person clearly and she felt a small smile come to her face.
“Hey Louis.” Lily said brightly upon reaching him, her eyes going briefly to the book that he held in his hands. “Mind if I join you?”

Around half an hour had passed since he started reading, the time flew without him noticing it. Sometimes Louis could be quite the geek, he would drown himself so far into the book, that everything around would just pass unnoticed, he couldn't help it, and that was something he had in common with his big sister, she too, besides her good looks, was quite the book worm.
“Hey Louis.”
Suddenly it felt like he was brought back to earth in high speed, and instead of raising his head immediately to see who it was, he did it quite slowly, afraid it could be some girl he slept with and dumped the next day. He really didn't want to hear a big speech on how disgusting he had been to do something like that...yatta yatta. But gladly, it wasn't, instead it was Lily, his cousin. "Hey gorgeous" he greeted back with a warm smile. The girl was indeed starting to get really beautiful and if they weren't family, Merlin knows Louis wouldn't be able to keep his hands to himself.
“Mind if I join you?”
"Please, be my guest. I just don't know how much does Dark Magic in XV century attracts you" he stated with a gentle smile, putting both hands on the grass and moving to the side to give her space to sit next to him.

"Please, be my guest. I just don't know how much does Dark Magic in XV century attracts you" Louis replied and Lily was relieved that she hadn’t interrupted his reading time. She herself had those days were all she really wanted to do was be alone with a good book.
Her smile grew as she plopped down onto the grass next to Louis, her legs stretched out in front of her as she leaned back on her hands. Her eyes settled briefly on the lake, enjoy the view in front of her before turning her attention back towards her older cousin and the book in his hands. “Are you reading that for fun or for a class?” She asked, generally curious.

“Are you reading that for fun or for a class?”
"Strangely enough...for fun" he stated laughing gently and placing the book on the other side, next to him "What can I say? This is the type of reading I enjoy, one can never know too much and besides, If I wasn't like that, I doubt I would have the grades I have at the moment" he added winking to his cousin with a warm smile.
Louis had always been top of the class and quite frankly, top of his year also. His grades were remarkable and there was no doubt he was meant for great things. It was strange how the most out going guy was also the most nerdish when it came to classes. He acted almost like a different person in front of the teachers, not trying to hide anything, just wanting to learn more. "What about you? What are you doing around here so early?" he asked, leaning his head back against the hard trunk.

“I don’t thing it is strange that you read that for that fun.” Lily said, remembering the time someone called her crazy for trying to do the same thing with Crime and Punishment. It didn’t help that the person was a pureblood and had never heard of it before, leaving Lily to have to explain the plot. Needless to say, they didn’t find it interesting and gave her a perplexed look for the rest of the conversation.
"What about you? What are you doing around here so early?"
“Me? I’m usually up this early. I just spend my time in the common room.” Lily replied, switching her position so that she was now lying on her back, her red hair contrasting with the green grass. “Though, I must say that you and James have ruined that for me.” She half joked, shooting Louis a pretend glare. “I can’t go anywhere without hearing girls talking about you two. My dorm mates kept me up all night with their constant chatter. They seem to think now that their fifteen that they will get noticed.”

“I can’t go anywhere without hearing girls talking about you two. My dorm mates kept me up all night with their constant chatter. They seem to think now that their fifteen that they will get noticed.”
Louis couldn't help but to laugh gently at her comment, it was funny how he and his cousin were so popular among the students. It was true that some of it came from their parents fame and from their looks, but that didn't bother them at all, at least not Lou, he was just enjoying his teen years the most he could, without regretting anything. "Well, you know how it works, but I have to say, you've been getting a lot of attentions as well lately. I've noticed how the guys can't help but look at you as you walk by them" he stated with a smirk. Lily had transformed completely the last year, from a little red haired girl to a much more mature and pretty woman.
"The ones that have height and are pretty, send them my way, the rest, you can send to your brother" he teased smirking sending a wink "Now that I have a dorm for myself, I finally don't have to hear girls and firsties all day and night, life is finally good" he added running his fingers through his hair while looking up.

“Just don’t tell James and Albus that.” Lily said somewhat seriously, referring to Louis earlier comment. The last think she needed was her brothers to get on her case about guys. Lily during all her years at Hogwarts, had only had one boyfriend. Sure, she would go on dates with guys, but that was it, they were just dates. Her last relationship ended when she mentioned to her now ex about meeting her brothers and knew right after the words had escaped her mouth that it had been the wrong thing to say. Lily had been right and the next day they called it off. It had been a short relationship, so Lily hadn’t been too hurt when it ended. However, she did decide that she would wait longer before mentioning her brothers to her future boyfriends.
"The ones that have height and are pretty, send them my way, the rest, you can send to your brother”
“I’ll make sure to do so.” Lily laughed as she picked up a stray piece of grass and began to pick it apart. “Your so lucky to have a dorm to yourself.” Lily commented, thinking about how pleasant it would be to not have to hear the mindless girly chatter that seemed to constantly be going on in her own dorm. Granted, Lily got along well with her room mates and sure there were times that she joined in, but there were also times that it got to be too much.

“Just don’t tell James and Albus that.”
"Of course not" he claimed with an eyebrow raised "You should know by now that I'm not the type of telling what you do, to your brothers." he added with a warm smile, besides, he knew how the Potter boys could be, mostly Albus, the kid never thought twice before acting, everything was made in the heat of the moment with many consequences most times. At first it was rather funny how he claimed to be the 'family prankster and bad boy' now, that they all were older it just became rather annoying.
“Your so lucky to have a dorm to yourself.”
"Indeed I am" he stated grinning "And I couldn't have asked for a better room mate, not only the girl is hot as hell but she is also fun to be around." he said winking to his cousin "The problem is, things will get rather strange once I sleep with her because, yes, sooner or later, she'll jump to my bed" laughing at his own words, Louis stretched his legs in front of him.

“Thanks.” Lily said warmly. She knew that Louis and James were rather close and it was nice to know that none of their conversation would be getting back to him. It wasn’t that she had thought Louis would go running off to tell him, but all the same it felt good to have reassurance.
Turning her attention to the blue sky above them, Lily pondered if she should ask if Louis knew what was going on with Albus. The events that had happened over the holiday had made her somewhat worried about him, how he acted with their father and towards her at times was unnerving. However, she decided to hold back on that for now. It was probably something she should talk to James about first before bringing in other family members.
“You know, one of these days, you’re going to run into a girl who isn’t so willing to jump into you bed.” Lily teased, taking her focus off the blue sky and turning her head to the side to see him better.

“You know, one of these days, you’re going to run into a girl who isn’t so willing to jump into you bed.”
Laughing, Louis turned his head as well towards his cousin "Do you honestly believe there's such a being in this world that would be able to resist me? Let's face it 'couse' Im an eighth veela and quite irresistible, untill now, no girl was able to say no. I don't want to sound cocky, but it's the truth. Besides, something in this girl tells me that she won't be as easy as all others" he stated with a malicious smile. Amy not being as easy as other girls made the game even more exciting, it was getting quite boring the way girls just felt to his feet with a smile.

“Well good for her.” Lily replied laughing slightly as she tried her best to picture this girl that Louis was talking about. It was somewhat refreshing to hear that at least one girl didn’t fall so easily under the spell of Louis Weasley. Her neck beging to hurt from the angle it was at, Lily rolled onto her side, resting her head on her raised arm.
“Don’t you ever get tired of girls fawning over you?” Lily couldn’t help but ask. It was a question that she had always wondered about with both Louis and James, though she had never actually thought of asking it until now.
