Amethyst had just received a letter this past summer stating that she was appointed to be Head Girl for her seventh and final year at Hogwarts School. She had been excited to see who would be the Head Boy. Sitting down on the Hogwarts Express waiting to arrive at Hogwarts was main bordom. The Prefect meeting had gone well, but unforunately, she had missed seeing who was Head Boy. It might have been the fact that she was not simply interested at that particular moment. She was more concern with getting the Fifth Year Prefects on the same page.
The moment the Hogwarts Express had stopped in Hogsmeade, Amy was up doing her job. She had to make sure that no one was left on the train. Once all the compartments were checked, Amy left the train. She met up with some of her friends, who had chosen to wait for her. She hopped onto the Headless Carriage and chated with her friends. Upon arriving at the Castle, Amy went into the Great Hall for the Sorting of the First Years and Dinner. The normal speech was given and the plates of piled food appeared. Overall, everyone was getting along. Amy alerted the Prefects of Ravenclaw to escort the First Years to their dorms. Amy was almost one of the last to leave to make sure that all First Years were currently with the Prefects.
Amy walked along the halls as a final preparation check. Every student seemed to had taken to their Common Room for the night, except some of the other students. Amy smiled at them.
"Don't stay out to late," she warned, "Classes are in the morning. Good night."
Amy walked up the stairs and to the place where she would be staying for the year. Amy gave the password and entered the Head Dorms. The room itself was beautiful. It had been decorated to match everything that was Hogwarts. There were no specific colors, but instead an aray of each of the four house colors. Amy looked around to see if the Head Boy had come in yet. She was now eager to see who she would be staying and patrolling with for her Seventh Year.
Amy walked over to the couch and sat down by the fire. She pulled out a book and began to read. This was her way of waiting for someone. She has just hoped that it was not someone she would not get along with. There was no telling who the Headmistress would have chosen to pair her with. But one thing was for sure, Amy was here first and she could call dibs on anything first.

Louis, for one side, was rather surprised he was assigned as the Head boy, he was a great student, there was no doubt about that, but outside classes, rules didn't really apply to him. It wasn't like he would ran around the forbidden forest and go playing pranks on people, far from it, he always acted with class. What he usually did was sneaking out the common room at night and go to the three broomsticks or staying outside after hours. Nothing extravagant, but still, not following the rules.
In the train, Louis wasn't able to find the Head's compartment so he was unable to do his duty in telling the prefects what to do, but he figured the Head girl would be able to do a good job. When it stopped in Hogsmead, he was in front of the crowd of students, telling them where to go. He was one of the firsts to reach the castle, and from there show them the way to the entrance. Still, he didn't knew who the Head girl was.
After dinner, he made sure the gryffindor prefects were able to do their job and like everyone in his house, he headed to the common room, only to remember after getting there, that he wasn't going to stay there anymore, now that he was the Head boy, he shared a room with the Head girl on the other side of the castle. Rolling his eyes he turned around and made his way to the Head dorms, he was the only person walking the corridors at that time, it was dark and the only light came from several candles on the wall.
"Hello?" he asked not very loud, afraid the girl would be already sleeping. "Oh, Hi!" he greeted after spotting someone there "I see my luggage is here" he laughed softly, he knew the girl most probably wouldn't understand that statement. "Louis Weasley" he introduced himself, extending his hand to the blond girl.

Amy was quiet and reading her book. She didn't hear anyone come in. She was too far in her book to even pay attention to the room around her. When she thought she heard someone whisper, she turned shut her book. She sat her book on the arm of the chair. She stood up and turned to see the gentleman, who stood before her.
She was a bit confused by his remark of his luggage being here. At least now she knew he was actually the Head Boy instead of some guy who had just randomly showed up here for no reason. She listened to him introduce himself. A light bulb clicked on in her head. She had heard that name before from plenty of her friends.
"Nice to meet you," Amy spoke, "I am Amethyst Tylers."
Amy took his hand and shook it. She had heard things from her girlfriends about Louis. They told her to be alittle wary of him. He was known to go after every girl, if that was even possible. But Amy was not one to judge before she got to know the true person behind the mask. Amy released her hand from his and walked back over to her spot. She sat down on the chair and pulled her book onto her lap.
"So, were you surprised?" she asked referring to being appointed as Head Boy.

"Nice to meet you," Amy spoke, "I am Amethyst Tylers."
"Like wise" he stated with a wink and a soft smile before taking his hand. "I guess we're going to see a lot of each other the next year" he half teased walking towards his luggage and opening on of them over his , the only one left, bed. It was only fair that Amethyst being the first to get there would have the first pick, but it was ok with him, either way he would give her the opportunity to chose anything before him.
"So, were you surprised?"
"Surprised?" he asked back, unsure of what she was talking about, moving his head in her direction "Oh, about being appointed as head boy?" he asked rhetorically with a smirk, going back to take his clothes from the bag "Well, I have to say I wasn't totally surprised. I've never been caught doing anything against the rules and about my grades...well...can't complain" It was true, his grades were perfect, he was one of the best students in that school and the teachers never got tired of telling him that. He figured Amethyst was also a very good student or at least had something in her that made them choose her, what it was, he had to figure out with time. One thing was for sure, she was indeed beautiful.
"What about you?" he closed the empty bag and grabbed another one, placing it on the same spot the other one was before "Were you surprised?" he asked, his back turned to her, not in an impolite way, but it was only because he had to take the things of his luggage.

Amy listented to his response. In a way response was a lot like her thoughts. Although, she had to admitt that she was more shocked than surprised when the owl had dropped by all of a sudden in the middle of her breakfast that morning. The damn thing nearly gave her mother a heart attack. It was quite odd to see the bird after she had already received her letter from Hogwarts.
"I was more shocked," she stated, "The Owl that delievered the letter almost gave my mother a heartattack when it flew in through the window at Breakfast. When I saw that it was addressed to me, I was a bit confused. As soon as it was open, I heard my mother calling for my family to join us in the kitchen. My family was more surprise than I. I knew I had a chance of getting it, but was counting on the odds of not getting appointed."
Amethyst was a well-to-do student. She had been raised to be respective towards everyone. She was brought up to be a proper young lady in a Pure-Blood Society. If she did not behave herself, most likely, she could ruin her family's name and honor. That was probably part of the many reasons why Amy was appointed this position. Her grades might have been also part of this equation. She did receive 10 OWLs during her Fifth Year Exam. Also, being the youngest of her family, she needed to stand out from her brother and sister.
"So, what are you looking to do once you get out of Hogwarts?" she asked.
She wanted to get to new her new roommate. She wanted him to feel comfortable around her and be able to tell her anything. This was rule number one in building a new relationship with someone that was new to her. Then from there, maybe things could get more interesting and timeless down the year. Amy walked over to her chest and pulled out her pjs. It was a hot summer day and the night would be no different. She pulled out a tang-top and some blue shorts. Her shirt read: You can look, but touching is forbidden. It was inside joke with her friends back in Ravenclaw.

Louis laughed as she told the story about how her mother almost got a heart attack when the owl came. It didn't happen with him, but he was surprised to get an owl from Hogwarts at that time, mid summer, vacations, it was rather unusual. "Glad she didn't" he replied with a warm smile, placing the empty luggage under his bed.
He took a moment to look around, the place was nothing like the Gryffindor dorms, it looked like a high price suit and without the noise the students made. His bed was as large as Amy's and everything there had a classy touch. The fireplace, the furniture, he figured he would enjoy the year very much, and so far he had no complains whatsoever about the head girl.
Louis copied the girl and also took his pj's from the clothes pile, it was only a pair of teal pants, that was the only thing he did wear, summer or winter. He took of his shirt, his chest was well defined and worked out, never did he had a complain about his body, actually, he only had compliments.
"So, what are you looking to do once you get out of Hogwarts?" she asked.
"I still didn't gave much thought to it, I'm not sure yet. Most probably I'll travel around the world for about two years after Hogwarts and then get a job as the Minister's Personal advisor or Head Auror, something like that." he stated. "What about you?" he asked back, starting to take of his jeans.

"I am not really sure what I want to do after Hogwarts, either," Amy replied, "My mother told me to play towards my strenghts. So I am guessing I might pursue the job of a Healer."
Amy turned around so her back was facing him. She wanted to give him some privacy while he was changing. She didn't seem to mind the fact that he was. She had an older brother, who did it everytime in front of her and sister. Amy unbuttoned her robes and slide them off. As much as she hated them, she had to wear them. She undid the white coller shirt and pulled it off. She threw it across her bed and pulled on her tang top. She did the same thing with her skirt and leggings before pulling up her shorts.
She pulled down her hair from it pony tail. She really didn't like having it up. She preferred her hair to be down on her skin. She folded her uniform and put it off to the side. She pulled out a bottle of strawberry-kiwi lotion and a tooth brush. She began to rub the lotion on her legs and arms.
"Have any older or younger siblings?" she asked, "I have an older brother and an older sister. Both are enage at the moment, so mother and father are going bersek. They want to have a double wedding and their finances' seem to agree with each other. Even all the parents agree. It is going to be a total nightmare getting everything perpared."

Louis smiled warmly at her comment about maybe pursuing a career as a healer. It wasn't much his type but he had nothing against it, it was quite the remarkable job. He had to have any kind of action in his life, he wouldn't be able to enjoy it otherwise.
"Have any older or younger siblings?"
"Yes I do" he replied simply "Two sisters, a twin and an older one that is 25" he added putting on his pj's pants and putting his feet into the slippers "So I guess there won't be a problem with us living together, we're both used to share a house with the opposite sex and besides, you couldn't ask for a better room mate" he teased with a gentle grin. "Congratulations to your siblings" he said as she told him that they were engaged. His older sister had a thing with Teddy but they weren't close to get married, at least that Louis knew about, and he would be one of the first people to know, his sister told him everything and vice versa.
Grabbing a book and a bottle, Louis walked to the sofa in front of the fireplace and poured himself a glass of whiskey "Care to join?" he asked Amethyst with a soft smile.

So I guess there won't be a problem with us living together, we're both used to share a house with the opposite sex and besides, you couldn't ask for a better room mate.
Amy rolled her eyes at his last statement with a small giggle. What was it about the male species that made their ego go so beyond reach than what they had actually need? Amy was about to crawl into her bed when she was asked if she wanted to join Louis.
"Sure," she replied.
She walked over to the chair where her book was laying. She picked it up and went over to the couch. She sat on the other end and curled up. The book she had just reading before he entered was laying flat open in her arms. The book was about Medicinal Herbs of the Wizarding World. One could say that her favorite class indefinately Herbology.
"So anything that you would like to know about me?" she asked.

"Sure,"
Glad that she'd agree to join him, he picked another glass and poured some whiskey to it also, "Here" he stated as he handed it to Amy. At least she wasn't the type of person that had a thing against people that drank alcohol, it wasnt like he was going to get drunk, he just wanted a relaxing moment before going to bed, It had been a long day.
"So anything that you would like to know about me?" she asked.
"Sure" he stated simply, crossing his legs and resting his hands on his lap "Where are you from? Are you a pure-blood?" he asked, it wasn't like he had the need to know about her blood status, it was just curiosity, it never meant anything to him.

"Thank-you," Amy replied taking the glass. She took a small sip and sat it down. Amy was not much of a drinker, but she guessed it could be used as a celebration drink of being back in her final year at Hogwarts. She looked down at her book. She was currently on the page with the plant of Lavender. It was good for scent amoras and calming down. It was also a good plant to place in the bathtub for a soothing relaxation bath. She would have to try at some point in time.
"Where are you from?Are you a pure-blood?"
"My family is originally from London, but we have moved around a bit," she replied, "We now live out in the country instead of the city. It is much more peaceful out in the country. Life does not go bye as quickly as it does in the city. And yes, my family is a pure-blood family. Believe me, you will see how the in-training years will be displayed in me. All my family roots will begin to show within time, although, my family holds nothing against anyone else on the concerns of their blood. Brought into this world as a Pure-Blood, raised like a proper Pure-Blood Lady, Up-tight family, but with no cares for what anothers' blood is."
Amy suddenly got up and went to her bag. She pulled out a tin box. She walked over to Louis and opened it.
"Would you like one?" she asked, "My mother makes the best chocolate chip cookies around."

"Thank-you,"
"You're welcome" he replied with a wink, moving his glass towards hers and hitting them gently "To the beginning of something new" he stated with grin before taking a large sip of whiskey. He then heard her answer to his question, she, like him, was a pure-blood, but one thing was very different, at least on his father side of the family, they were much more laid back. For many years, even before Louis was born, his Weasley part of the family never had much money, so, the only thing they could do, was to live day by day, trying to do their best with what they had.
Of course, on his mother side, the Delacours were a very important family in the wizardry community, they were known all over France and made part of the upper class. Louis took most of his mannerisms from his mother and grandparents, the way to sit, to walk, to eat, everything very classy, and in his voice was almost impossible not to notice the light French accent he had from spending so many summers in France.
"Would you like one?"
Louis watched as the blond girl stood up and walked to her bag to grab a tin box. She then offered him one, and as the good 'guest' he was, he accepted it with a nod, grabbing one and taking a light bite "Delicious, Thank you" he said with a smirk.

Amy smiled and nodded her head. She placed the tin box on the table in front of her. Then she sat back down and curled up into her ball. She picked up her glass of whiskey and took another sip. Normally, whiskey was not something she was use to drinking. She was rather a Wine type of girl, just because she was given wine with her meals back at home. Amy stared into the fire. The flames were shooting up towards the ceiling of the fireplace.
Amy gave a small yawn. She marked her book and stood up. She walked into the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. That was something that she would have to figure out with Louis. The bathroom schedule for the morning had to be figured out so neither of them were late for class. She brushed her hair and her teeth. Then she walked back out and climbed upon her bed.
"We need to figure out a schedule for the bathroom," she stated, "I am up for showering at night as long as I get at least twenty to thirty minutes in the bathroom in the morning. What about you?"

Louis stood in the same place while Amy went to the bathroom, nothing crossing his mind, just staring blankly to the fire in front of him, drinking the whiskey in small sips. It was strange how free he felt for the first time in Hogwarts, he now lived in a completely different way than the other students. He didn't had a curfew, there was no Head of House telling everyone to go to bed, no annoying first years screaming and running from one side to the other making it impossible for someone to have some work done. The power as a Head boy started hitting gently for the first time.
"We need to figure out a schedule for the bathroom," she stated, "I am up for showering at night as long as I get at least twenty to thirty minutes in the bathroom in the morning. What about you?"
Turning his head, Lou laughed "I have to take my shower in the morning, its a must, but I don't think you'll be awake when I start preparing myself to leave. I usually take my breakfast really early, so you can have how much time you want. Besides, I usually take one hour and a half in there" he said smiling. He spent more time in the bathroom than most girls, let's face it, egocentric as he was, it was only normal.

Amy started to giggle. This was the about the first time she ever came across a guy that worried more about his looks than sports. Hell, her brother would just jump into the shower and out of the bathroom within five minutes. Although, he was more interested in going out and hanging with the guys than looking good for the ladies. Her sister was the one that no one could get out of the bathroom for hours. Hence, why Amy took to showering at night instead of the morning. Also, Amy never did dabble in the bathroom in the morning. She always make sure her hair was done and teeth brushed, but make-up was put on in her room.
"I guess that would make me the tomboy of this dorm," she teased, "Anyways, I am going to set my alarm for 5:45am. I believe we have to meet up with the Professors in the morning for laying down some ground work and rules. That and helping the first years find their classes without getting lost. I remember last year when a group of Hufflepuff first years all ended hang by their fingers because no one told them about some of the staircases having invisable steps."
Amy pulled back her covers and folded them. They would not be need tonight due to the warm summer day. She layed down and looked up at the ceiling. The Hogwarts Crest was staring back down upon her. The Lion, the Snake, the Badger, and the Raven. This room was much more different than with what she had grown up in. For the very first time, it was peaceful and serene. No one was yelling and she only had one roommate, who she actually got along with, despite the fact that the person was the opposite sex. But unforunately, this would not last as reality would set back in tomorrow along with all the hell that came with being back here.
"Good night Louis," replied Amy.
