Overall Personality:
Alanna is your typical well brought up Daddy's girl; she enjoys going to class, derives pleasure from acquiring knowledge, and is always where she says she is going to be. To the outside world she is concerned with nothing more than her studies. To those who know her, she is a loyal, supportive friend, who is willing to do almost anything for someone she considers a friend.
She has been known to tell off others for being too rowdy in the Common Room, and can be slightly obnoxious if you disturb her study time, but catch her when she isn't busy and she's good for a game of Exploding Snap. When it comes to her classes Dominique gives one hundred and ten percent to all of her work - if she isn't focused on the lesson, something is really bothering her.
While she has been called a know-it-all over achiever for years, very few know that she can be a fun loving, adventure seeking, care free gal. During the summer when she can let herself relax, she can often be found outside climbing trees, or down at the beach 'digging for buried treasure' with the kids. While at Hogwarts, she has been known to break a rule or two, if she deemed it necessary.

History:
Growing up with three siblings, Ally was never left wanting when it came to finding company. If her brothers were out and about then she knew she could find someone else with just a quick floo trip. If all else failed, her mother was always good for a game of exploding snap - even if the conversation tended to turn unto unpleasant topics.
Her mother liked to keep her from going out with her brothers on their 'adventures,' and for some reason she turned red every time her father told her that it reminded him of someone else. When her eldest brother received his Hogwarts letter, Alanna grew so excited about her own acceptance that it was all she could talk about for months. She became so obsessed that the summer before her first year she could hardly sleep, staying up at all hours of the day, waiting for her letter, slightly terrified that it may not arrive.
During her first five years at Hogwarts, Ally tended to keep to herself, deciding that working and focusing on her classes was the best way to spend her time. She had snuck out on more than one occasion with her brothers however on late night runs in to Hogsmeade, and had attended every school dance. She was debating this year about whether or not she was going to branch out a bit more, and maybe even fulfill her dream of being on the Quidditch team.

Slowing down to a stop, Molly collapsed down on the sand, letting her hands drop down next to her. She was out for a jog, and one of her favorite places to run was along the beach, with the sound of the crashing waves lapping at the ground. Leaning back on her hands, she let her eyes wander over a couple and their child, playing in the water, moving her gaze further down the stretch of sand. She normally went out much earlier in the day, more toward daybreak then early evening, but she had spent that morning helping her brothers move some furniture around for their mother. That had been interesting, to say the least. Any time spent with Fabian and Gideon was bound to be entertaining.
Taking in a deep breath of the salty air, she pushed herself up off of her hands, whipping them on her shorts. Sweaty hands plus sand tended to equal sand found under her fingernails days later, but it was always worth it. Her daily run allowed her to free her mind, to let go of thoughts crowding her head, and to simply get away from life for a short while. Not that she necessarily had a desire to just escape the world, but she treasured the thirty minutes to an hour she spent by herself. Molly liked to joke that she'd never get anything done if she didn't go for her run; that the salt water and crisp air was her muse that needed to be found every morning after running away during the night.

I apologize for it really isn't my best application - I'm just the slightest bit brain dead at the moment.
