Canons will be reserved for three days. If you do not claim the character within that time, it will be up for grabs again.
The Admins will choose the house for the Original characters.
Please no anime or myspace people for your characters. Use real people for this is a reality based site.
Applications must be finished within a week. If it is not done in that time, it will be denied. Titles of your app should be your characters name, written like this LASTNAME, firstname. EX: POTTER, albus
Please make your celeb match your character's age. If you play a 5th year then please don't make your celeb someone older like Russel Crowe. I know thats exagerating but you get my point.
If you are planning on owning a store or teaching job then please check to see if there is a required character to be owned by in the board. Certain stores are still owned by the fictional characters made by J.K. Rowling. We are trying to keep this site as real as possible
If you are going to play a canon then please check the sub-plots board. With some characters there are small plots between other canons and originals. Some are still in progress so bear with me. If you wish to have one of your own then please PM me with the details and permission from the other members involved.
Please do not post anywhere until your character has been accepted. After acceptance, please make sure you post in the celeb claim to make sure no one else uses your celeb.
Post should be atleast 6-8 sentences. I understand you may have writers block sometimes and because of this I will allow one paragraph (6-8) instead of the normal two.
You may have one character per account and only six accounts at this moment. At this point, no more than three canons per person.
If you play a canon, act and talk like that canon.
This site is based on reality. So that means violence, sex, and wizard alcohol is alowed. But no DRUGS. Firewhiskey will be acceptable. If you are about to engage in sexual activities then please change the thread title and put [R] in it.
Please no chatspeak. I don't like it and it's hard to understand. Please do not do it. Use it and the thread will be locked and placed in the completed threads section.
Nobody is perfect, so that means that no character is perfect. If you make a perfect character, it will be denied. Godmodding goes along with this. You are not god. You do not know what will happen next and you do not know what the other character is thinking, so please don't say you do. It is okay to say something like this:

Swearing. This is something that everyone does and I'm not going to ban it on this site, but please don't say the whole word on this site and please don't use it too often. Don't make every other word in your post a swear word.
Respect the teachers and call them Professor when you RP with them. You do not have to respect them if they aren't in that particular thread. Also, you may control a teacher if noone is playing them.
Teachers, remember that you aren't allowed to harm a student in anyway. If I catch you doing what Mad Eye Moody did to Draco Malfoy, you will recieve a warning, with the chance of being banned.
All IC posts must be at least one paragraph. This isn't so hard. There are some sites that ask you to post five paragraphs in each post. You can talk about the weather, surroundings, whatever to get one paragraph. One paragraph is at least 5-8 sentences long.
Not everything needs to be in character. Please post in the OOC boards every once in awhile, even if it is just to play a game.
Respect everyone in OOC.
Please don't heistate to ask any questions concering what to do and where everything is. This is a big site with alot of detail.
In the app, where it says, Anything else, please put "Yes, Good will always prevail."
New Rules I've seen the following on other sites and I want to make sure it does not happen here.
You are allowed to have more than one account and ongoing threads with each, but DO NOT post in the thread with one, if it was meant for the other. Here's what I'm talking about. I play Both Albus and Rusty. If I have a thread as Rusty, I will never reply to that thread under Albus' account. Wait till you are on as that character to reply.
Admins have the right to add any more rules if needed. A PM will be sent out if there are any new additions.
